Description

The PRJ-B001-7JF from Casio is part of the PRO TREK Hiker Line, designed for long trails and ultralight hiking. As of April 2024, this model is positioned as the lightest in the PRO TREK series, combining essential outdoor functionality with a compact and comfortable design.

Powered by Casio’s Tough Solar system, the watch uses a solar panel and high-capacity rechargeable battery to ensure stable operation of power-intensive functions. When fully charged, it operates for approximately 7 months without further solar charging under normal use, or up to approximately 18 months in power-saving mode. If not connected to a smartphone, it maintains standard quartz accuracy of approximately ±15 seconds per month.

The watch features Mobile Link functionality via Bluetooth®, enabling connection with compatible smartphones. Through the dedicated app, users can record current time and location data on a map, allowing activity logs to be saved and reviewed later. This Time & Place function enhances outdoor experiences by keeping track of memorable locations and routes.

A rotary guard bezel allows the design to switch between two styles. In its standard position, the buttons are protected to help prevent accidental operation during walking or daily use. By rotating the bezel 45 degrees, the buttons become more accessible for easier operation during activities.

Constructed with biomass plastic for the main resin components including the case and band, the model incorporates renewable organic resources to help reduce environmental impact. The case measures 46 mm in diameter and 13.6 mm in thickness, while the total weight is approximately 44 g, ensuring comfortable wear during extended outdoor activities.
