ICY BOX IB-RD3720-CU3ICY BOX IB-RD3720-CU3ICY BOX IB-RD3720-CU3ICY BOX IB-RD3720-CU3 is a two-bay RAID storage system designed for 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and SSDs. It provides a practical way to organize, expand, and manage local storage in one compact enclosure, making it suitable for everyday data handling as well as more structured backup setups.

This type of enclosure is well suited for backups, media libraries, project files, and other data sets that benefit from centralized storage. With support for two drives and a combined capacity of up to 60 TB, it can be used for storing large collections of documents, photos, videos, and work files in a single place.

A key advantage of this model is the ability to choose between RAID 0, RAID 1, SINGLE, and LARGE modes using the integrated DIP switch. This gives users flexibility to configure the storage layout according to their needs, whether the priority is performance, mirrored data protection, simple single-drive operation, or combined drive capacity.

The enclosure is designed for SATA-based hard drives and solid-state drives in both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch formats. This broad compatibility makes it useful for different storage setups, including drive upgrades, reuse of existing disks, and mixed storage planning within the supported drive type range.

In daily use, the IB-RD3720-CU3 offers a straightforward way to manage two drives without complicated setup steps. The selectable RAID modes help keep operation simple, while the storage structure can be adapted to different tasks such as archiving, working with large files, or maintaining a backup copy of important data.

Its design supports repeated use in regular storage environments where dependable organization and stable drive handling are important. By accommodating standard SATA drives and offering multiple RAID configurations, it provides a durable storage platform for users who need a consistent and adaptable external drive solution.
