Equipped with a diamond-shaped pantograph. Based on the A1272 (shipped in September 2005), various parts have been updated, including the addition of a flywheel to the power unit. Dark gray undercarriage. The body color red has been changed to a more vibrant shade. The dimensions and shape of the English logos on various parts of the vehicle body, as well as the sun-motif mark, have been revised to create a more realistic appearance. Following the specifications of the Lk904 train set at the time, the safety markings [S] and [K] are printed in a lower position. The seat parts are the same as those in A1273 (product shipped in August 2017). The skirt has been changed to a more realistic-looking part. Approved by JR Kyushu
